We continue working to cover from the most basic needs of boys and girls, such as food or health, to schooling as a fundamental right, in this area of the country marked by poverty, terrorism, violence and HIV.
As an NGO, we financially support Jorge and his project “Girls by day, whores by night” so that he can continue to watch over the girls and young women of the marginal areas of Freetown (Sierra Leone) so that they grow up to be free women and live with dignity. .
El Gregal offers food to more than 150 homeless families daily, in addition to preparing lunch boxes and food packs so that people at risk of social exclusion who do have a roof over their heads can cook them at home.
Thanks to the support of the “La Caixa” Foundation, we have been able to offer scholarships to federated football clubs since 2009. Our scholarships facilitate the integration and socialization of boys and girls who, for different reasons, are at risk of exclusion. The scholarships include monitoring of school performance to ensure that the child completes their education in the values of sport and that tomorrow they have all the tools to get ahead and the confidence that they can go wherever they want.
Our goal is to promote women’s sports in general and women’s table tennis in particular, through scholarships aimed at girls who want to start in the world of sports and who otherwise would not be able to do so.
