PROJECTES

From our NGO we help people, especially boys and girls, who live in a situation of risk of social exclusion and marginalization through the values of sport, both in Catalonia and throughout the world, especially on the African continent.

ESI Deli - Txad

ESI Deli - Txad

We have collaborated in the construction of a school in Deli (Chad) supervised by Gloria Sedes, a member of the “Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa”.

We continue working to cover from the most basic needs of boys and girls, such as food or health, to schooling as a fundamental right, in this area of the country marked by poverty, terrorism, violence and HIV.

``Girls by day, whores by night``

``Girls by day, whores by night``

Jorge Crisafulli is a missionary who goes out every night with a bus through the streets and highways of Sierra Leone, to offer shelter, schooling, psychological care and food to girls forced into prostitution. If they are mothers, he also offers help for their children’s schooling. To date, he has already saved more than 200 girls from the age of 10 from prostitution.

As an NGO, we financially support Jorge and his project “Girls by day, whores by night” so that he can continue to watch over the girls and young women of the marginal areas of Freetown (Sierra Leone) so that they grow up to be free women and live with dignity. .

Comedor social “El Gregal”

Comedor social “El Gregal”

We collaborate with the El Gregal soup kitchen in the neighborhood known as “La Mina” (San Adrià del Besós) so that they continue to fulfill their motto: “Nobody leaves here without eating, no matter where they come from”.

El Gregal offers food to more than 150 homeless families daily, in addition to preparing lunch boxes and food packs so that people at risk of social exclusion who do have a roof over their heads can cook them at home.

Thanks to the support of the “La Caixa” Foundation, we have been able to offer scholarships to federated football clubs since 2009. Our scholarships facilitate the integration and socialization of boys and girls who, for different reasons, are at risk of exclusion. The scholarships include monitoring of school performance to ensure that the child completes their education in the values of sport and that tomorrow they have all the tools to get ahead and the confidence that they can go wherever they want.

Raíces - ESI Tenis Mesa

Raíces - ESI Tenis Mesa

We developed this project from the Raquetes sin fronteres section together with the CTT Ganxets de Reus and the Reus City Council.

Our goal is to promote women’s sports in general and women’s table tennis in particular, through scholarships aimed at girls who want to start in the world of sports and who otherwise would not be able to do so.

Tennis and mental health

Tennis and mental health

The project was born promoted by the Private Foundation for Mental Health Catalonia-FPSMC, the Catalan Tennis Federation and our NGO. We do our bit to fight sedentary lifestyle by offering tennis classes to people suffering from mental health disorders. In this way we also favor the socialization and integration of this group.

The project is currently being developed in Tarragona, El Vendrell, Barcelona, Mataró, Cornellà and Girona, thanks to the collaboration of the clubs: CT Tarragona, CE CT Vendrell, FCT Cornellà, RC Polo de Barcelona, CT Mataró and the GEiEG.

This project, led by the dermatologist María Jesús Torres, aims to provide social and health education on albinism, social integration and the prevention and treatment of skin cancer in albino people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Albino people not only have a higher risk of skin cancer, but also suffer serious vision problems and great discrimination due to their condition.
